The Bear gets Third Season

Exciting news! The critically acclaimed and award-winning hit series, ‘The Bear’, has officially been renewed for a third season and is set to make its return in 2024.

Nominated for 13 (!) Emmy® Awards, including Best Comedy Series, the show has captivated viewers around the world since its very first season.

‘The Bear’ revolves around Carmen Berzatto (Jeremy Allen White), a gifted chef from the world of fine dining whose life takes a sudden twist, as he’s expected to return to his hometown, Chicago, to take over the family business – a local sandwich shop “The Original Beef of Chicagoland”. We watch him try to navigate through the challenges that come with that transition – all while dealing with complex family dynamics, his new colleagues and the aftermath of his brother’s tragic suicide.

However, what truly sets this show apart is its brilliant ensemble cast as a whole. Each character is incredibly complex and multifaceted. Sydney Adamu (Ayo Edebiri), Richard Jerimovich (Ebon Moss-Bachrach), Marcus (Lionel Boyce), Tina (Liza Colón-Zayas) and Neil Fak (Matty Matheson) create the perfect blend of personalities that bring not only the bistro, but also the show, to life.

The second season deals with the team trying to transform their humble sandwich shop into a high-end restaurant. Of course, that’s not so easy and comes with all kinds of new challenges like permits, bureaucracy and a whole lot of commitment. What makes this season so special are the episodes diving into our favourite character’s personal journeys and relationships.

Although the show shines brilliantly on its own, it also brings in some incredible guest stars (Word is that many were practically begging to be a part of it!) like Jamie Lee Curtis (Everything Everywhere All at Once), Will Poulter (Midsommar, Dopesick), Jon Bernthal (The Punisher, The Walking Dead) and Sarah Paulson (American Horror Story).

The Bear is an incredible, heartwarming show filled with a lot of heart and emotion. It delves into themes of trauma, heartbreak, self-discovery and family.
